Consulting and Damage Assessment
Provides loss related cause and origin assessments; like, kind and quality price and available analysis; restoration and/or repair analysis; and contaminant content analysis to insurance adjusters, insureds and risk managers. This division also provides contingency planning consulting and support to insureds.

Technical Restoration and Repair
Provides restoration and repair support to the insurance and risk management community for high tech mechanical, electrical and electronic systems and devices contaminated and /or damaged as the result of disasters. Restoration includes removal of contaminants such as chlorides that are often contained in loss-generated mediums like soot from fires or water from storms. This division has the capability to restore and/or repair the full gamut of electrical, electronic and mechanical devices ranging from the most sophisticated to the most basic. Services include re-calibration and re-certification of equipment where necessary.

Engineering and Design
This division developed as a natural extension of our Consulting and Restoration divisions. During the course of providing post-loss support Coastal was often asked to generate upgrade of efficiency recommendations regarding network systems, control cabinetry, communication systems, etc. As a result of these request, this division was created and has evolved to the point where much of its work is outside the insurance area. Past projects include design and installation of the electronic control system for the STATIA Terminals. STATIA Terminal is an oil refinery and tanker filling station that occupies an entire island in the Netherlands Antilles. This division is also very active in the design and installation of automation solutions for the plastics industry and regular clients include plastic machinery leader such as Battenfeld Gloucester and Cary Compounds, LLC.

Research and Development
This division provides innovative technical support to all of the above referenced divisions. CTS technicians and engineers are always looking for a way to do things more efficiently, no matter what type of project. This division specializes in computer and network design.

CTS has been involved in a significant expansion over the last few years and now provides offices in Orlando, Florida; Phoenix, Arizona; Sacramento,California and Seattle, Washington, in order to better service the needs of its clients. We further anticipate the opening of our Dallas, Texas office in the very near future. The main office and Corporate Headquarters are located in Doraville, Georgia, which is an immediate suburb of Atlanta, Georgia.

CTS has had the opportunity to provide the services to a number of quality companies over the past years. Clients of note include AT&T, Bell Southern Frozen Foods, Georgia Tech University, STATIA Terminals and the Florida National Guard. We also provide services to many are a member of the National Disaster Recovery Team for Compaq Computer Equipment.

Data Recovery
Historically, data restoration has been a hit or miss proposition. It was largely dependent on a fortuitous set of circumstances following some major catastrophic event like fire, flood, or earthquake.

Today's technology has not only improved the speed and precision of the computer, it has also enhanced the probability of an accurate and successful data recovery if one were to become necessary. The lessons learned during the days of simple character parity checking have given rise to the use of advanced cyclic redundancy characters and longitudinal parity checking. The fact that storage media has become electrically larger and faster while becoming physically smaller and less expensive allows for more logical space on the media and time during the data read and write cycles for additional self-checking and redundant operations.

Coastal Technical Services in cooperation with On-Track has developed a media inspection and data recovery procedure that combines the best of both operations into a single solution provider for recovery of your data. We hope you will never need this special service but if you do rest assured that we can provide the "State of The Art" in data recovery.
