Coastal Technical Services offers commissioning services for building owners, developers, contractors, and architects.

The commissioning process involves the inspection and testing of systems to ensure that proper scientific and engineering principles have been applied, and design specifications have been met. All phases of a project are potentially applicable, from design, and procurement, through construction/ assembly, to operation and functional testing.

• Systems may include equipment and assemblies, instruments, buildings, facilities, and other structures.
• CTS performs evaluations of processes and operational environments.
• Assessments of system design, operability, performance, and reliability expectations. 
• Audits and/or documentation of system characteristics for traceability and contractual purposes.
• May involve multiple engineering and scientific disciplines including: mechanical, electrical, electronic, chemical, civil, medical, and other specialties.
